Color Expressions in Fiber - Washington Free Public Library, Iowa

  • Washington Free Public Library 115 West Washington Street Washington, Ia 52353 United States (map)

This exhibit exemplifies the diversity of techniques and applications of fiber and color. It also represents Christine Williamson’s appreciation for the connection with others who love this medium. Dye colors are prepared and applied to all forms of fiber - unspun fiber, yarns, fabrics - originated from animal, plant, and man-made fibers, and combined into an array of abstract, realistic, and whimsical images.
